Job-Hunting in Japan

Generally, Japanese college students start their job-huntings in early spring, a year before they graduate. They explore career options by collecting company brochures, mostly on Web-site, and having informal interviews with their older graduates who work at the companies of their interests. They attend companies' get-to-know-us seminars and take job interviews, that mainly take place in February and March, at the end of their junior's. Then, they usually obtain job offers in fall.
