Waseda University aims to uphold the independence of learning, and to promote the practical utilization of knowledge and good citizenship. These principles form the foudation of learning in the Graduate School of Accountancy MBA Program, where education combines academics with practical application. In addition to emphasizing the ethical integrity required of all accounting professionals, our mission is to create ideas that deepen and enhance understandings with a strong leadership in the changing global environment.

Our goal is not simply to raise a new generation of CPA. As globalization moves forward, we hope to bring into the world accounting professionals who have high accounting and management capabilities in accounting firms, corporations, government agencies, NPOs, and a wide variety of other organizations. As our society continues to struggle through enormous change, CPAs and other accounting professionals are constantly faced with situations that do not appear in any textbook or accounting standard. What will come to their aid at such times is the ability to identify problems, and to bring ethical integrity and advanced professional skills (the "accounting mindset") to their solution.

With nearly one-third of our faculty consisting of practicing professionals, such as CPAs, we provide the highest level in accounting education by advanced, specialized work in academic majors and professional fields. Throughout the program, you will develop your accounting, business, communication, and leadership skills. Moreover, by developing strong network with our excellent faculties and students will be a longlife strength for you. We welcome ambitious students who have their eyes on the world, and who seeks to contribute across a broad range of challenge as an accounting professionals.
